Interactive Photo Backdrop

This interactive photo backdrop was designed to engage participants in a collaborative art experience at the local church KWCAC. What began as a black canvas with delicate butterfly outlines was transformed into a vibrant, collective artwork through the contribution of each visitor.

The butterfly represents growth, transformation, and unity. This installation invited participants to take part in that symbolism by adding their fingerprints to the butterfly wings, helping the artwork “take flight” over time. Each fingerprint became a part of a larger, living design — visually and symbolically showcasing the power of community.
